Application that crashed: plasma-desktop Version of the application: 0.3 KDE Version: 4.2.86 (KDE 4.2.86 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090514)) "release 125" Qt Version: 4.5.1 Operating System: Linux 2.6.27.21-0.1-default i686 Distribution: "openSUSE 11.1 (i586)" What I was doing when the application crashed: Last night my computer crashed unexpectedly (I was just listening music), so I turn off the power. When I boot again this morning, plasma crashes 3 times in a row. Looks like the bug I had the days before, but maybe it has something to do with the linux-crash? -- Backtrace: Application: Plasma-Arbeitsfläche (kdeinit), signal: Segmentation fault [Current thread is 1 (Thread 0xb5dc2700 (LWP 4567))] Thread 2 (Thread 0xa4fc6b90 (LWP 4614)): #0 0xffffe430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb7c80c35 in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb7ce0722 in QWaitCondition::wait (this=0x9c440e0, mutex=0x9c440dc, time=4294967295) at thread/qwaitcondition_unix.cpp:87 #3 0xb7546ae2 in QHostInfoAgent::run (this=0x9c440d0) at kernel/qhostinfo.cpp:260 #4 0xb7cdf70e in QThreadPrivate::start (arg=0x9c440d0) at thread/qthread_unix.cpp:189 #5 0xb7c7d1b5 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #6 0xb64893be in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 Thread 1 (Thread 0xb5dc2700 (LWP 4567)): [KCrash Handler] #6 0xb7deb571 in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x860c548, m=0xb75e1d60, local_signal_index=0, argv=0xbff0c6bc) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3190 #7 0xb74f52d3 in QHttp::stateChanged (this=0x860c548, _t1=6) at .moc/release-shared/moc_qhttp.cpp:140 #8 0xb74f530a in QHttpPrivate::setState (this=0x860d990, s=6) at access/qhttp.cpp:3037 #9 0xb74f571b in QHttpPrivate::closeConn (this=0x860d990) at access/qhttp.cpp:3048 #10 0xb74feac5 in QHttpPrivate::_q_slotError (this=0x860d990, err=QAbstractSocket::HostNotFoundError) at access/qhttp.cpp:2656 #11 0xb74ffe4c in QHttp::qt_metacall (this=0x9116450, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=16, _a=0xbff0c8fc) at .moc/release-shared/moc_qhttp.cpp:123 #12 0xb7de9dc8 in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x94af4c0, from_signal_index=12, to_signal_index=12, argv=0xbff0c8fc) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3120 #13 0xb7deb552 in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x94af4c0, m=0xb75e2d30, local_signal_index=4, argv=0xbff0c8fc) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3194 #14 0xb7560a93 in QAbstractSocket::error (this=0x94af4c0, _t1=QAbstractSocket::HostNotFoundError) at .moc/release-shared/moc_qabstractsocket.cpp:148 #15 0xb757d73e in QSslSocketPrivate::_q_errorSlot (this=0x9d04480, error=QAbstractSocket::HostNotFoundError) at ssl/qsslsocket.cpp:1991 #16 0xb75808cf in QSslSocket::qt_metacall (this=0x94af4c0, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=14, _a=0xbff0ca4c) at .moc/release-shared/moc_qsslsocket.cpp:113 #17 0xb7de9dc8 in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x983a148, from_signal_index=12, to_signal_index=12, argv=0xbff0ca4c) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3120 #18 0xb7deb552 in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x983a148, m=0xb75e2d30, local_signal_index=4, argv=0xbff0ca4c) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3194 #19 0xb7560a93 in QAbstractSocket::error (this=0x983a148, _t1=QAbstractSocket::HostNotFoundError) at .moc/release-shared/moc_qabstractsocket.cpp:148 #20 0xb7563d0b in QAbstractSocketPrivate::_q_startConnecting (this=0x9c5cd20, hostInfo=@0x9e5f360) at socket/qabstractsocket.cpp:870 #21 0xb7567d50 in QAbstractSocket::qt_metacall (this=0x983a148, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=12, _a=0x9c62f68) at .moc/release-shared/moc_qabstractsocket.cpp:109 #22 0xb758f652 in QTcpSocket::qt_metacall (this=0x983a148, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=20, _a=0x9c62f68) at .moc/release-shared/moc_qtcpsocket.cpp:58 #23 0xb7de2a1b in QMetaCallEvent::placeMetaCall (this=0x9d6e818, object=0x983a148) at kernel/qobject.cpp:489 #24 0xb7de44b0 in QObject::event (this=0x983a148, e=0x9d6e818) at kernel/qobject.cpp:1118 #25 0xb676069c in QApplicationPrivate::notify_helper (this=0x80a6aa0, receiver=0x983a148, e=0x9d6e818) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:4057 #26 0xb676899e in QApplication::notify (this=0x80a09e0, receiver=0x983a148, e=0x9d6e818) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:3604 #27 0xb727db8d in KApplication::notify(QObject*, QEvent*) () from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.5 #28 0xb7dd3adb in QCoreApplication::notifyInternal (this=0x80a09e0, receiver=0x983a148, event=0x9d6e818) at kernel/qcoreapplication.cpp:610 #29 0xb7dd4725 in QCoreApplicationPrivate::sendPostedEvents (receiver=0x0, event_type=0, data=0x805a990) at kernel/qcoreapplication.h:213 #30 0xb7dd491d in QCoreApplication::sendPostedEvents (receiver=0x0, event_type=0) at kernel/qcoreapplication.cpp:1140 #31 0xb7dff90f in postEventSourceDispatch (s=0x80a8b20) at kernel/qcoreapplication.h:218 #32 0xb63069c8 in g_main_context_dispatch () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #33 0xb630a083 in ?? According to the appletsrc file you have a Google Gadget desktop, and the backtrace matches several Plasma crashes of configurations using Google Gadgets too. (like bug 182961). Marking as duplicate. Thanks *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 182961 ***
