Version: 3.1 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-12-generic When I drag a card to it's proper new location it snaps back to the place it was moved from. 3's 7's and others. Example move a 3 of hearts onto a 4 of hearts and it snaps back to where it came from, then select a different 3 of hearts and try the same move, however, it snaps back to that prior location too. You can have a winning game and not be able to finish. Spider Solitaire. I got a bug request but no details, so I chose this method of reporting. I have removed and reinstalled Kpat with no correction to the application. I am unable to use the konsole to repair; don't know the code. Hope this helps. By the way, Jaunty kde 4.2.2. Pentium 4 with 512mb ram.
A few questions: - Does this always happen, or is it just sometimes that you're not able to drop a card where you want? If it's only sometimes, is there any pattern to when you can or can't drop cards? - Have you tried playing with a different card deck? If the problem always affects the three of hearts, it's possible that that card is mislabeled in the card theme, so what you see as the three of hearts might actually be the seven of clubs, for example. - Does this issue ever show up when playing a game type other than Spider? - When you drag the card over the pile you think you should be able to drop on, does the pile below get highlighted? This is normally used to indicate that the move is acceptable.
Without more details, I see no way to fix this. Changing status to NEEDSINFO.
