Description Kilian Lackhove 2009-06-04 15:34:17 UTC
Version: 2.1 (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I am using amarok 2.1 from the kubuntu ppa on kubuntu jaunty with kde 4.2.4

Since 2.1 final large compilations are not recognized as compilations but a single album for each interpret is created.

Example:

I have folder containing about 300 files. All files are tagged only with artist, title, compilation="1" and album="unknown album".

expected behavior: amarok should create a large compilation album named "unknown album"

actual behavior: amarok creates a seperate album for each artist (ca. 200 albums!)

in amarok 2.1 beta 1 this worked correctly

on irc i was told this had to to with a 60 songs-limit

Comment 2 Lydia Pintscher 2009-06-04 15:42:56 UTC
Please don't close this as a dupe of the bug from hell.

Max: This is likely due to the 60 tracks limit.
Comment 3 Gary Steinert 2009-06-06 18:51:50 UTC
The 60 track limit has been removed in trunk. As far as I am aware others who have had this problem have reported it fixed.
