Description Mun.Johl 2009-06-04 01:47:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs

I would be nice if Konsole had a feature to restore a minimized
window when new output was received. On some terminal emulators,
this feature is called "mapOnOutput".

Furthermore, if the
window is not resident on a particular desktop when the new
output is received, an option should be used to control whether
the window is restored to all desktops or only the desktop
of which it is a resident.

What other terminals have this ability? I'm not that sure I care for this myself. How often would people use it?

I have no idea which (popular) terminal emulator has this feature. I also think it may cause some trouble. What if you are playing a game and konsole suddenly gets restored and jumps into your face?

I will close it. If you still want this feature, please at least point out which emulator has this feature.
