Version: (Build Date: Jun 3 2009) (using Devel)
OS: MS Windows

In the "Track details" window, the location field shows forward slashes (/) instead of the expected backward slashes (\)

Can somebody confirm this? This report has somehow slipped from our attention.
Comment 2 Casper van Donderen 2009-08-16 20:39:09 UTC
Still happens in 2.2GIT, will fix later.
Comment 3 Casper van Donderen 2009-09-06 16:38:20 UTC
This is a 'problem' in Qt, for Windows & Linux / both work. I only want to strip the / at the start, the rest I cannot change since it is the way Qt handles thing.

It is with the nightly from Mar 8 2010
(http://saroengels.net/kde-windows/amarok-nightly), I'm going to try to
compile it myself using emerge.

Any news on this?
Comment 8 Hannah von Reth 2010-11-12 11:39:35 UTC
Still valid but should be easy to fix with
http://doc.trolltech.com/4.7/qdir.html#toNativeSeparators
?

This looks related to bug 160841 and because the same Qt option seems to be applicable as solution, this bug can be marked as a duplicate.
