What I was doing when the application crashed:
I selected a feeds entry from kde-look.org in Kontacts Feeds viewer, then double clicked it to open it which opened a new tab in the Feeds viewer. Then I clicked on one of the thumbnails which opened another tab showing the larger images and then, upon clicking on another thumbnail in the image view window the app crashed.
