Description Evan 2009-06-02 17:16:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I haven't seen this in any terminal program but surely it exists somewhere. Anyway, I would like the background of the console to slightly change colors for each command entered.

So the first command I enter and its output will be shown in a black background. Then the second command and its output will be shown in a dark gray background color.

I don't know if this is even possible, but it would help visibility with some separation

I doubt this will ever be implemented. However, perhaps a dbus command that an user could change the background color whenever they wanted.

So if I execute 5 commands, their output will be displayed as 5 blocks using 5 different background colors? or 2 colors in interchange ?

I have not seen how this feature is implemented in any emulator, So I try imagining what it would look like. My first reaction is my eyes might get hurt by those blocks of colors.
