Version: (using KDE 4.2.85) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs After updating to KDE 4.3-b1 (openSUSE factory) konqueror no longer shows its browsing history. That's for all users on my machine. Looking at the konq_history file shows, that it is still intact and written to (when browsing). I would access it with qdbus but cannot figure out the correct command line for the GetAll() method.
Did you try Go->Show History too? here in trunk/ History sidebar is empty for me while the new history bar (accessible from Go->Show History) has them all.
AFAIK the History sidebar was deprecated and it is no longer there.
> Did you try Go->Show History too? Thanks for the hint. It works. > AFAIK the History sidebar was deprecated and it is no longer there. Deprecated? I'm shocked. For me the universal sidebar for history, bookmarks, folders etc., all simply acessible with F9 was a good thing. Why is the history removed from there? Having a popup window obscuring part of the browser window is no improvement. B.t.w. history is also very limited since several months due to bug 181763. Also visiting an item from history is currently not possible (neither by double-click nor by drag and drop). It this work in progress? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 193966 ***
