Description Birger 2009-05-29 18:45:39 UTC
Application that crashed: plasma-desktop
Version of the application: 0.3
KDE Version: 4.2.86 (KDE 4.2.86 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090514)) "release 125"
Qt Version: 4.5.1
Operating System: Linux 2.6.27.21-0.1-default i686
Distribution: "openSUSE 11.1 (i586)"

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Plasma chrashed directly after booting (I didn't start any programm manually and my autostart just started knetworkmanager and qt-engine scrypt). While I wrote this report, Plasma chrashed a second time.
Some days ago I had the same bug.

Comment 1 Aaron J. Seigo 2009-05-29 19:04:54 UTC
a) this looks like a bug in QHttp

b) nothing in our code uses QHttp, so this is most likely a 3rd party add on doing so

what widgets do you have on your plasma? any google gadget ones, per chance?
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-05-29 19:20:21 UTC
Yeah, it is probably the GoogleWidgets crash : bug 182961. But, let's wait for an answer. Thanks
Comment 3 Birger 2009-06-01 21:47:45 UTC
Hello!

I've installed google gagdets but I am pretty sure my plasmoids aren't from google. Following a list with my plasmoids (incl. the english translation):

-> Photos
-> Abmelden (shutdown)
-> Netzwerkverwaltung (Network-Plasmoid)
-> stasks
-> Ordner-Ansicht (Folder view)
-> Notizen (Notes)
-> Taskbar
-> Spielwolf (Playwolf)
-> Akkuüberwachung (Power)
-> K-Menü
-> Analoge Uhr (clock)

Do you think I have to uninstall one of them?
Comment 4 Aaron J. Seigo 2009-06-01 22:27:33 UTC
hmmm.. neither Playwolf nor stasks uses QHttp either.

could you attach your plasma-desktop-appletsrc file to this report so i can take a quick look?

I hope that's the right one...
Comment 7 Dario Andres 2009-06-05 13:45:23 UTC
Yes, you have a "ggl_31" plugin. BTW: this is already fixed upstream. Read bug 182961. Thanks
