Description desaparecido 2009-05-28 15:29:18 UTC
Version: 2.0.90 (using 4.2.85 (KDE 4.2.85 (KDE 4.3 Beta1)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-11-generic

after upgrade to amarok 2.0.90 (neon project repositories), each time that amarok start the scan collection start and never goes more than 60%, even after a longtime (some hours even), the only way to stop is manually. Beforte this upgrade the collection's scanning was quickly and once (only if changes). I work with Kubuntu KDE 4.3 alpha 1 (KDE 4.2.85)

same here , in amarok svn just compiled today.
Amarok takes seconds to start and and scan collection starts with 100% cpu
and never ends.
mysql 5.1.34 - kde 4.2.87

It sounds like you have a file/files in your collection that's causing the collection scanner to crash. Try running `amarokcollectionscanner` from your Music directory and note the output. Try removing the file that causes it to crash.
