Description Ben Boeckel 2009-05-28 06:36:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.85)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When trying to open a file on a remote server (at least via sftp), if the remote directory matches one that is in places, the places widget moves to the local directory of the same name when selecting a file, making it impossible to choose files in the remote directory.

Process:
Put /foo/bar/ in Places
Go to sftp://user@host/foo/bar/
Select file in remote directory
Current directory becomes local /foo/bar/

Is it related to Bug #185463 ?

Can't reproduce using KDE SC 4.10.1 . Feel free to reopen if the problem still exists in recent versions.
