Description Katrina Niolet 2009-05-27 05:13:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.85)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

With "desktop effects" turned on window resizing becomes painfully slow. I have 30-100fps during normal usage but when I resize a window this drops to 1fps. I have not been able to identify a specific effect that is causing the problem.

Hardware info:
Thinkpad T60
ATI Radeon Mobility X1400 @ 1680x1050

You may try to disable "show content while resizing" setting. This should improve the situation.
