Description Tanja Schulte 2009-05-26 20:32:37 UTC
Version: 2.0.90 (using KDE 4.2.85)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

After I've deleted two mp3s from amarok's playlist (just from playlist not from hd) two of the remaining files have wrong ID3 tags: I removed two songs by "artist 1" from album 1 and now two other songs in the playlist are assigned to album 1 though they are of a completely different artist ("artist 2") and another album (and had the correct ID3 tag entries before). In the playlist those two songs of artist 2 now show the wrong album of artist 1, also in their ID3 tags in the ID3 tag editor. Also two songs from artist 1 are assigned to artist 2. The album is assigned to both artists and all four songs are assigned to both artists in the album widget. It doesn't help to clear the playlist and to recreate the collection database (via amarok settings - collection), the wrong tags remain.

Did you try to erase the database from ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/ and start again?
