Description jesusda 2009-05-26 12:05:04 UTC
Version: v0.8.5 (using 3.5.10, Debian Package 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-1+b1 (5.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-3-k7

It will be great that KGET accepts Rapidshare, Megaupload, and simmilar sites urls, like other projects: Freerapid, Tucan, etc.

Thanks! ;)

I'll try to do it when I get some time.

Subscribing. Some plugin to support lists of links to rapidshare files, also for free users, would be really great.

I vote for this, because nowadays, much people (including me) have premium for MU or RS, and kget is useless for this task :(
I want to stop using jdownloader because I hate java and I wanted some native app like kget for downloading.

I understand your problem and I have been working on it -- occasionally -- the last two months. Though there are still many issues left, so I am not sure if this will make it into 4.6.
One of the (minor [1]) issues I have is the lack of an MU account, I have access to a RS one though.

Btw. if this makes it into 4.6 it won't be compareable to jdownloader. The later will always have more features and I also do not plan to work on captcha-processing in the near future to come.

[1] minor, as in a lot of stuff to fix first anyway and further the plugins for the websites would be downloadable via GHNS, so creating the the framework has priority as that has to meet deadlines

Unfortunately my work on this has stalled and I can't give you an estimate if this will ever land.

Note to myself for whenever I look into this again: Could Content Fetch be up to the task?
