Description Dennis Rutherford 2009-05-25 06:13:49 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I'm experiencing an issue with the Calendar applet in Plasma. When I first create the Plasma instance on my desktop there are no issues, I can watch this for a few minutes with no problems. However, when I move the calendar under a window, the CPU will spike to 100%. I then move the applet so it isn't covered by anything but the does not fix the problem. The only fix is to close the Calendar applet. Also, Moving a window over the applet does not cause this issue, only when i move the calendar applet under then window. (I also tried switching desktops to where the applet was covered and this also did not trigger the issue)

just to clarify: it's the calendar applet, not the calendar popup of the clock, right?

Move/Resize calendar causes 100% CPU usage -> bug 187699. Already fixed on trunk and KDE4.2.3. Thanks
