Description Yoann 2009-05-25 00:03:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

Title says it all.

Since i searched for a good 2hrs, felt very much like a bug to me.

But since it's not kmail's but sick webmails and luser's fault, this is no bug.

Still, I think kmail _should_ try to use "from" if "reply-to" doesn't exist.

workaround easy by replacing "reply..." button with "reply to sender" (but i found the expandable button way cooler)

Regards :)

Hello,
"Reply all" had the strrrrange behaviour and made it annoying.

So i cleared my kmailrc, problem gone with it.

I think i missed something in my conf (still i went through every config dialogs: there was no option like "send to a filtered mailing list if reply-to is missing") (and i searched for a big while)

* pop mailbox content was an import from evolution 2.x
* + gmail imap accounts : they worked fine

"reply" now acts fine even with sick webmails messages.

Diffing old kmailrc and new one , i see :

< MailingListPostingAddress=mailto:ubuntu_wiki-fr@lists.ubuntu-eu.org (*)
---
> MailingListPostingAddress=
(*) this was the unrelated mail adress

found it in a dialog ("Save to distribution list"), but no way to delete it.
Still a weird behaviour i guess

So no bug, nor request, just some keyboard/chair interfacing trouble

Thanks
