If you can reproduce the crash at will, may you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and post a complete backtrace here?
You need to install the "kdepim-dbg" package

it seems that this bug as disapeared sinds the last bug correction pertaining to kde there are many other bugs that are gone at least for me, so I think there is no more need to investigate to this bug I wil shure report  if it comes back. Thanks a lot for work.
