Description G360 2009-05-22 00:31:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When using the Silicon theme and when the Luna widget is configured in the southern hemisphere, the moon image is not aligned with the widget box. It is like only 60% of the image inside the box.

This doesn't happens when configured in the northern hemisphere.

Sorry, I have wrong selected the Product of this bug, should be plasma. Is this possible to change?
Comment 2 Marco Martin 2009-05-22 20:13:46 UTC
can you post a screenshot?
and the bug is present also after restarting plasma or resizing the widget?
Comment 3 G360 2009-05-22 23:20:55 UTC
Yes, it remains unaligned when resizing and when restarting plasma.

Here is the screenshot:

With KDE 4.2.90 using the silicon theme I can see the same behavior of the luna widget.

But sometimes when changing the plasma theme to any, and back to Silicon, the moon image is wrong aligned but in the northern hemisphere, when changing to south it remains same. I have to restart plasma-desktop to have the correct alignment, but only in the northern hemisphere.

don't see problems with luna anymore with any theme i tried it
silicon appears to not work anymre after themes became actual plugins, so can't test with that.
if the problem reappears with KDE 4.5+ please reopen

Since bug 203413 was fixed, I obviously don't see this problem anymore :)
