Qt Version: 4.5.1
Operating System: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.04

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Global Shortcuts crashing everytime I login. using trunk build. Not sure if this is a temporary problem.

From a short look at the problem it would be nice for you to attach your $HOME/.xsession-errors file. The assert points to a problem with marshalling something and on most errors there is a qWarning before it.
