Description Michal Thoma 2009-05-21 12:55:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

I would welcome possibility to alphabetically sort order of images according to Caption and also other relevant metadata (Author, Location, City, Country).

This is already possible using advanced Search tool...

Maybe I'm just lame though I don't see the way how to sort order alphabetically through Advanced search dialog.

I can search for images containing some string but result will sort according to file name again (or other options in View > Sort images)...

I don't see how it is possible with advanced search either...

With current implementation from git/master, it's already possible to perform this kind of sort by 2 ways :

1/ Using Filters tab from right sidebar, where you can filter icon-view items by Caption or Title. Option is in drop down menu from Text filter option button.

2/ To switch icon-view in table-view mode and add Caption and Title columns. Sort will be available by usual way : clicking on column tab header. To add new columns in Table-view mode, right click over columns header and select right components to show.

So for me, this file can be closed as WORKFORME.
