Description Dotan Cohen 2009-05-20 12:21:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Currently users cannot configure combined keyboard and mouse shortcuts. An example use case would be the zoom and transparency composting effects: In Compiz I have [Tux-Button3] and [Tux-Button4] as Desktop Zoom In / Out as well as [Atl-Button3] and [Alt-Button4] as increase / decrease window transparency.

The examples given (button with one, or more Keyboard Modifiers in "Pressed" State) is an exact duplicate of the most simple implementation for bug 96431. More complex hotkeys (i.e., a non-modifier button, or a keyboard Action preceeding/following the mouse Action, in the style of EMACS shortcuts) are also possible API result of that bug.

Clsing as a Duplicate of bug 96431, "Ability to use Mouse Buttons as shortcuts".
