Version of the application: 4.3.0 pre
KDE Version: 4.2.85 (KDE 4.2.85 (KDE 4.3 Beta1)) "release 3.4"

What I was doing when the application crashed:
I asked krunner to start kontact and... then came the crash reporting assistant.
