Description doc.evans 2009-05-16 18:38:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

There doesn't seem to be any way to view multiple albums simultaneously (if there is, I can't find it).

This capability would help tremendously when trying to move/copy images into the appropriate destination album, and in finding unnecessary duplicates.

Right now, this has to be done outside digikam, using the split view modes of Konqueror, for example.

There is the option in the icon view to move pictures by
- right click on one or more pictures and select "move to another album"
- add the "move to another album" function to the toolbar to have a quicker access to it.

in the current Version 5.9.0 there is no need to use an external file manager to move pictures to another album.
