Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 4.2.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package How to Reproduce: - Automatically mount a samba share in fstab using CIFS, - Bring down the server hosting said samba share, - Open Dolphin or Konqueror, - Nothing happens, - Oh wait, it does! But you have to wait a long, long time ;-) Since Konqueror as the same problem, I don't think this is related to the fact that I have a shortcut to this samba share in Dolphin Places panel. The same behavior can be found with a secondary hard drive, mounted but asleep. Every once in a while, opening Dolphin will spin it up and delay the launch. Expected Behavior: I don't want to wait!
Is this still the case for in the latest version, v4.10.3?
Still happens in 4.10.5. And I can't even start Kate until the shares are up again.
