Description michael 2009-05-16 11:24:18 UTC
Version: 4.2.3 (using 4.2.3 (KDE 4.2.3) "release 116", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.21-0.1-default

Hi!

I am using korganizer and imap-resources on different computers. On my newest laptop I can see the calender-events within kmail, but they do not show up in korganizer. I have chosen many different options within kmail and korganizer, but with no success. It is possible to enter a new event which is visible in korganizer and immediately in kmail. But as soon as I quit korganizer and restart it, it is again not visible, but it is included in kmail. In other clients on other computer those new entries are also visible.

Best reagrds,

 Michael

I have added 4 events. The first in kmail-list and a second one, both visible as libkcal within kmail and two events which are visible as KOrganizer events.

I tested the first and the fourth one, they both appear in korganizer.
Comment 8 michael 2009-05-17 16:41:16 UTC
Yes, as I have mentioned above, they also immediately appear in my other instances on my desktops.

Are other desktops also KDE-4.2.3 ?

Try removing and re-adding kolab resource on the one that fails
Comment 10 michael 2009-05-17 16:58:37 UTC
Yes, the other are also 4.2.3. But i do have this behavior since 4.2.2.

I have done this several times, in many different combinations. Tried to change to to other imap-sources I use in addition to my main-imap source, tried to change from kolab to the depreciated groupware and back. Despite some crashes of kmail nothing changed.

In addition I have removed all sources, like akonadi, the imap-source and the local calendar from korganizer and tried to add some. Always with the same result, that nothing appears in korganizer.

In my other instances of kmail/korganizer I am only use two imap-sources instead of three.

Now I have updated my last computer in which korganizer still works as it should from 4.2.1 to 4.2.4. After restarting KDE all events are not shown despite the fact that they are visible in kmail. Adding new one events is still possible and they appear in kmail, but as soon as I restart korganizer they are again not visible.

After updating to KDE4.3 the bug is fixed, my entries are now all visible!
