Description urwald 2009-05-14 21:11:56 UTC
Version: 0.70.2 (using 4.2.3 (KDE 4.2.3) "release 3", KDE:42 / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.21-0.1-default

I'm using a Yahoo account with Kopete. Each time on startup, I see an error message with the text "The selected buddy icon could not be opened. Please set a new buddy icon." (snapshot1.png)

I have neither selected a buddy icon in the Yahoo settings nor a general photo in the general identity settings. However, this should not lead to an error message... especially, if the error message says that the icon could not be opened though there has never been an icon selected.

I don't see this error at all with the upcoming KDE 4.4 release.

I can confirm this on kopete 1.6.60 runing KDE 4.13.2
