Description Alex Dubov 2009-05-14 18:39:24 UTC
Version: 4.2.2 (using KDE 4.2.2)
Compiler: gcc version 4.3.3 (Gentoo 4.3.3-r2 p1.1, pie-10.1.5)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

An attempt to create a spring in an empty document (start application, select spring from dock, right-click, drag) causes step to start allocating memory (in excess of 1.5GB on my machine) and then die silently (no backtrace or any log/error messages produced).
