Version: 0.10.0 (using KDE 4.2.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages DigiKam needs raw support for displaying correct colors for both Canon T1i (.cr2) and Nikon D5000 (NEF) support, the canon has a monotone pinkish tint and the nikon shows lost data for some areas of the picture.
Which libraw you use with digiKam? "Go to Help/Components Infos" for details... Alex, i CC you for info, if necessary... Gilles Caulier
Could you make a shot of GM Color Checker (24 colors) or other well-known color target and make .CR2 file avaliable for download? I've no sample shots from these new cameras, so no color data to put in LibRaw. Another (and usual) way is to wait until these constants will appear either in dcraw or in Adobe DNG converter...
its 0.6.15 for the libRaw and if you wish i can i guess mail you a photo granted i'm not sure where i can send a 21mb file, also if you wish i can send a Nikon D5000 nef a little smaller than the canon raw
Current LibRaw version is 0.7.2, so consider upgrade. I'll fix bugs (if any) in 0.6.x branch, but no new camera support will be added to old LibRaw. I've found samples from both cameras on imaging-resource.com, so I will check (and fix if needed) LibRaw color data soon (hope, on this weekend)
Created attachment 47779 [details] downloded on linux site downloaded digikam for linux to use for editing My raw photos from my Canon T1i, when I open in light table photo is colour correct when I open in edit it is mostly pinkish with very limited ability to adjust anything! Thanks for the help
Nick, you have created an attachment with digiKam.db bin file. This is right ? Gilles Caulier
Alex, Can we considerate this file as fixed now ? Gilles Caulier
