It's particulary bug/wish.

Wish part:

Can be plasma configuration (or configuration all-KDE apps) saved in XML? Maybe for KDE 4.4?

Configuration of plasma is really bad readable and confused.

Bug part:

Sometimes after update/crash configuration of plasma completly disappear.

Plasma 5, still seeing ugly configuration files, but hey, I don't care much ;-)
