Description Vijay Nag 2009-05-03 16:34:48 UTC
Version: 1 (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

The network manager doesnt seem to work in automatic DHCP mode.It requires DNS address to be loaded inorder to work.So this can be fixed by filling the DNS address by default gateway address itself

Worksforme.

Can you attach the connection file for this connection? it is one of the files in $KDEHOME/share/apps/networkmanagement/connections - look for the connection name.

The manual IP UI has been reworked. I don't think DNS has been made optional but, please reopen this bug if you still have a problem with it the way it is now.
