hi,

i have some ideas of improving chat windows (not truly mine - just seen elsewhere - like at gtalk or jabbim)

- clickable thumbnails for images
- links are transformed to page titles - so for instance indstead of displaying link as "http://www.myblog.com/index.php?id=321" show "My Blob - How to buy singing moles"
- links to youtube (and similar popular sites) could be displayed directly as videos embedded in chat window (if possible?)
- video/audio content displayed embedded in chat window (is decibel usable for this?)

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
