Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages The current Weather Station plasmoid is difficult to read. Please improve these areas: 1. The current Gray on gray theme is hard to read. Please add colour with more variety, such as the colours of the Oxygen theme, or the currently configured system theme. 2. Please add the ability to hover with the mouse for detailed information, not just click. 3. Please add the name of the currently configured location! 4. In additions to icons, please add the text of the weather state, such as overcast, sunny, rainy, snow etc. Thanks!

#1) We use Plasma default colours depending on your theme #2) This isn't determined by clicking on the icons, you have to have focus of the plasmoid in order to see the tooltips popping up #3) huh? #4) we're trying to make the applet less crowded as it is, putting that text will make the applet 2x bigger
Thank you Shawn. I am trying to add the widget again to test, but all I see are the "Weather Forecast" and "Simple Weather Forecast" widgets. Which one is this?
Don't know what "Simple Weather Forecast" is, that's not part of KDE. only the LCD Weather Station from Petri and mine Weather Forecast are part of KDE 4.x
Dotan, i think you are looking for the weather weather, not the LCD Weather Station widget. the latter is intended to look and behave like the real-world LCD weather read-outs that can be purchased at many knick-knack stores. i don't see it changing as that was the design goal. the weather plasmoid, on the other hand, has everything you want.
