Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Unspecified Linux I get XML-tree after request XMLHttpRequest and need clone some node from it by cloneNode(true) and insert new node to other XML tree (getting from other XMLHttpRequest) but it not work.
That is correct behavior --- see http://www.w3.org/TR/DOM-Level-3-Core/core.html#ID-952280727, in particular: WRONG_DOCUMENT_ERR: Raised if newChild was created from a different document than the one that created this node. We may have to emulate this bug of other implementations for compatibility in the future, though.
