Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

In the kontact's menu summary,you can view the next events you've got. The message display:

Monday,7 May 2009 in %n days Title of the event hour.

The problem is: " %n " days.

Sorry but this is a Ubuntu feature, their better than KDE translators decided the translation for

%1 years
was 
%n years
instead of
%1 years
as KDE Spanish translators have translated.

You can see the correct KDE translation at [1] and the wrong Ubuntu translation doing 

$ msgunfmt /usr/share/locale-langpack/es/LC_MESSAGES/kontact.mo | grep -a1 -b2 "%1 years"

19788-msgid "one year"
19805:msgid_plural "%1 years"
19829-msgstr[0] "un año"
19849-msgstr[1] "%n años"
