Description Dennis Schridde 2009-05-01 20:03:51 UTC
Version:           1.11.2 (using KDE 4.2.2)
Compiler:          gcc 4.3.3 Gentoo 4.3.3-r2 p1.1, pie-10.1.5
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

KMail does not display the following mailbox in the list of mailboxes, even though it is a valid mailbox and also contains messages:

. list "" "*"
<snip>
* LIST (\Noselect \HasNoChildren) "/" "[virtual]/all"
<snip>
. OK List completed.
. examine "[virtual]/all"
* OK [CLOSED]
* FLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen \Draft)
* OK [PERMANENTFLAGS ()] Read-only mailbox.
* 180 EXISTS
* 180 RECENT
* OK [UNSEEN 1] First unseen.
* OK [UIDVALIDITY 1241197648] UIDs valid
* OK [UIDNEXT 181] Predicted next UID
* OK [HIGHESTMODSEQ 1]
. OK [READ-ONLY] Select completed.

Update: The examine is of course not valid for a \noselect mailbox.
But still it would be useful if \noselect mailboxes would be shown, because empty namespaces (no mailboxes under them) are also \noselect, and if they are not shown, I cannot populate them from within KMail.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
