Description Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2009-05-01 08:58:20 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-1-686

Some plasmoids are large when added to desktop but show only a button when added to a bar. Pressing on the button the large version appear like a menu.
Good. Fine. But it doesn't disappear anymore (for example when it looses focus). To make it disappear i have to click again to the button.

This is quite annoying. Could you fix this?

Thanks

Can you list the plasmoids which doesn't disappear loosing the focus?

If you mean the "calendar" when you click on the clock, keeping it visible even when he loose the focus is a wanted behaviour and it is a WONTFIX (I don't remember the bug number). If you have other plasmoid, please list them here.

Many thanks :-)

There is a focus bug in the 4.2.2 release (I guess most of the distributions
patched it).
If you click the "K" button (Kickoff menu), does the searchbar on the top get
focus? (blinking cursor) ?
If not, you are suffering this bug. Debian should have patched this so I
recommend you to update your KDE packages.

Thanks

Nope.

Anyway, KDE 4.2.3 is coming soon (7-10 days).
