Description luis 2009-04-30 17:01:00 UTC
Version: 4.2.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-11-generic

I have installed ubuntu 9.04. Then, I have install kontact. I click on one day, select 'Day', or 'Week', or 'Work Week' in the upper bar, and nothing displays on the right.

This has happend to me, in the same computer, for both ubuntu and kubuntu jaunty, while in an ubuntu/kubuntu laptop it works fine. Perhaps it has something to do with the 686 kernel.

I can confirm this behavior, also with kubuntu 9.04. See attached screenshot. I'll be happy to provide whatever information may be useful.

Thanks! I didn't think of attaching a picture! Thank you Oliver. It is exactly what happens to me. I am not a programmer but with a little help, I will also be happy to provide whatever information may be useful or to try patches, etc...

you just need to resize the splitter with your mouse and you'll see agenda view.

Strange, I couldn't reproduce this booting from the live cd

Sorry Sergio, but I do not know what a splitter is. Could you please explain it to me?

Resizing the windows doesn't work. I attached before an image.

Thanks

Solution

Resize it there. Or, edit korganizer rc and remove the Separator AgendaView= line (with korganizer closed)

In my case the line was

Separator AgendaView=0,0

and removing it solved my problem. Thanks
