Version: (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources Hi, i don't use window decorations and resize my windows with ALT+Button1 as defined in systemsettings in window actions tab of the window behaviour menu. If i resize a window, so that it's size is zero some applications quit (e.g. eog). If the application doesn't quit, the desktop freezes (or gets very slow (not sure here)) and i have to switch to the console to kill the application manually. thanks.
What application do you have to kill ? Plasma or KWin?
looks neither like a bug in plasma nor a bug in kwin. Looks like a bug in the various applications or the toolkit they use.
> What application do you have to kill ? Plasma or KWin? Neither, i meant the offending application, in that case konsole.
Konsole from KDE4? Can you reproduce this with any other application ? Thanks Moving to KDE as this is not a Plasma bug.
Hi, some applications just quit (e.g. konqueror, eog, gimp, inkscape). Amarok starts using a lot of CPU, konsole instead uses a lot of RAM. jabref seems to handle it quite well, only the page shows the window to be huge. The same goes for xterm. At first i thought it's a feature to allow the closing of windows by reducing their size to zero.
I am not able to reproduce this here in KDE SC 4.3.90 as I am not able to reduce the size of any application to zero. Is this still an issue for anyone?
