Description Malte S. Stretz 2009-04-30 12:16:36 UTC
Version: 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2) (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-11-generic

I use the middle mouse button to open links in new tabs a lot when doing research. But often I want to go back to the original page which was in another tab I closed already.

The Recently Closed list helps here a bit. But it would be a lot more natural if the new tab just inherited the history of the old one. That way I didn't have to think about which one was the origin tab but could just use the Back button and be happy.

I don't consider this to be a good idea, it might be too confusing. At least I want separate history for my browser tabs back/forward behaviour. For a complete history I have, pardon me, had (Bug 193966) the history sidebar always visible.
