Description Nuno 2009-04-29 20:56:41 UTC
Version: 2.0.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-11-generic

After upgrading Amarok from version 1.4 I seem to have my playlist messed up. Every time I try to play a track from the playlist I have the following error: "Too many error encountered in playlist. Playback stopped".

Playing songs directly from my Zen wasn't a problem (I must say I'm well impressed with this feature and also with the fact that I can edit metadata from amarok, it's well cool! Well done!)

Anyway back to the problem... I tried to take the all the folders from the Local Collection and re-import them back again (if this makes any sense...). Unfortunately I wasn't able to remove one of the folders. I tried to restart the application and remove the one folder from the local collection but not very lucky.

The collection database in Amarok 2.x is located here:

$HOME/.kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle

So just delete this directory, but remember to make a backup first.
