do you mean that when restoring a previous KDE session with a maximized konsole, un-maximising konsole doesn't restore the original size, it stays at the same size, just not maximised? If that's what you mean I agree it would be a nice improvement
Hi, no, it's a bit different: To reproduce resize your konsole window to for example 80x25. Then quit konsole and restart it again. The window should be 80x25 now. Now, maximize the window and quit konsole. Restart konsole again, now you get a maximized window [1]. Now, switch maximization off, you get a konsole window with 118x44 and it would be great if the 80x25 would get saved somewhere. Well, this seems a generic problem for KDE applications using KMainWindow. Repeat steps in comment #2 for dolphin/gwenview/okular, and I get similar results. The un-maximized size info is lost after maximizing and restating.
I figure that this bug is in the wrong category. It would be great if someone could change the "product" accordingly.
