Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) Installed from: I Don't Know Binary package hint: kopete The name of menus are translations from Galician. I go to my Kopete contact list, I right click on a contact from the list, choose "properties" (Shift+'), and on the first window menu, I select to "change" the kmail contact equivalent to the one I've chosen. Then, since I have a long Kmail contact list, and near all my contacts has a photo (which means more space), the list is vertically bigger than my desktop. So, I can't se the last ones contacts, and I can't click on the "new contact option". I was able to do it by using the Vista-like window selector, with Alt+tab and the suitable effect, to discover I could use Alt+Y to create new contacts there, so I didn't have to create the contact at Kontact. But it's really annoying. I don't attach screenshots because they have personal information (name, photo and email) form other people, but if it's necesary, I can edit the images first and load them. this bug can be found at https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdenetwork/+bug/269428
I am the original reporter of the bug. I've left Kubuntu, and now I'm using Arch Linux with KDE 4.2.2, and there's no problem here (in 1024x768). Can anyone else confirm this bug is already solved?
i uses kopete but cant seem to replicate the issue. it seems like this issue might have been resolved. not sure if there is anyone else who can confirm or deny if it has been fixed.
both the original b.k.o reporter and the original launchpad reporter can no longer reproduce. closing this bug.
