Description Nick Savoiu 2009-04-28 19:21:34 UTC
Version: 1.6.6 (using 3.5.10, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-8)
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.9-55.ELsmp

Normally the console title for a session seems to reflect the working directory. But after some usage the title gets all messed up. For example even though the prompt is

  [tahoe:d3]$

the Konsole title is

 nick@tahoe:/home/d3 - d3 - Konsole - d3 - Konsole - d3 - d3 - Konsole

instead of the original

 d3 - Konsole

The title of the window in KDE 3 is set by the shell program (bash) so the bug may be there. I am closing this report because it refers to the KDE 3 version of Konsole which is no longer supported but please let us know if you have problems with the KDE 4 version.
