Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources

I turn off sub-pixel rendering in KDE4 fonts settings and restart X server. All KDE4 application now render without sub-pixel rendering. All, except Plasma. Plasma uses sub-pixel rendering regardless (Kickoff, plasmoids, widget/desktop menus). I expect to apply font settings on Plasma too.
