Version: 0.44 (using 3.5.10, Debian Package 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-2 (squeeze/sid)) Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.29-1.slh.3-sidux-amd64 When I position the dialog for the spell checking e.g. in the upper left corner (or so) this dialog jumps always back into the middle of the screen. Then it covers the original picture I try to ocr. So I bring it back into the upper left corner and the game starts again. The problem is: the dialog haven't to move to somewhere by itself. If it is in one corner it hav to stay there until I close it.

Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version? If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "REPORTED" when replying. Thank you!
It is not clear from the description exactly when the problem is happening. If it is saying that the dialogue jumps back to the centre during a single spell checking session, then this does not happen now - if the dialogue is dragged away (even to outside the Kooka main window), then it remains there until it is closed. If a spell checking session is ended and a new one started then yes, the dialogue always first appears centered over the Kooka main window. However, this is fairly standard behaviour in KDE for both dialogues and main windows - their sizes are remembered but not their positions, restoring positions depends on window system and may not be reliable. So this is expected behaviour. Please reopen if the problem of the dialogue changing position during a spell checking session is still seen.
