Description Paul Black 2009-04-27 18:04:06 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
Compiler: Probably "gcc version 4.3.2 20081105 (Red Hat 4.3.2-7) (GCC)"
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

Description of problem:
Displaying a PDF, Okular looks to be using the wrong font. Evince displays
correctly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kdegraphics-4.2.2-3.fc10.x86_64

How reproducible:
Seems to be most times.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open http://www.open.ac.uk/student-policies/objects/d3428.pdf in Okular
2. Go to body of section 1

Actual results:
Text is in wrong font. For some documents, this seems to be only the first few
lines of the paragraph; for others, it is the whole paragraph.

Expected results:
Text should display as per Evince (and Adobe).

Additional info:
Have attached Evince and Okular screen captures.

Hi,

Okular does not load and render PDF documents by itself, but uses a 3rd party library called Poppler.
You should report the problem to the Poppler's bug tracking system, at
https://bugs.freedesktop.org, "poppler" product.

Thanks for your report.
