Version:           3.2.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-11-generic

Kate doesn't save sessions and when I set some plugins (i.e. terminal tool view), it doesn't save it. So when I started Kate, I have to set it again. Is it my mistake? :-)

This works just fine here. Did you maybe set kate to always start with an empty session or to not save the session when exiting? See Settings->Configure Kate->Sessions and make sure "load last-used session" or "manually choose a session" is selected as well as "save session" or "ask user" on that page. Or manually save the session after setting up kate.
