Do you remember which file where you looking for when the application crashed? Do you remember the search pattern ? Thanks
(In reply to comment #1) > Do you remember which file where you looking for when the application crashed? > Do you remember the search pattern ? > Thanks Yes, I think so. I had entered a file name search string of: *escritura* to look in the: file:///home/shawn and to include subfolders. Other programs running at the time were: Mozilla Thunderbird, Firefox Web browser and the Opera web browser. I hope this helps.
Can you try to reproduce the crash ? Thanks
Created attachment 33178 [details] Name/Location tab window contents at point of failure
I mean.. could you try to do the same you did the first time the application crashed to get a new crash ? This way you will know if this crash is reproducible. If it is, you may provide us more information to know how to fix it properly. Thanks!
(In reply to comment #3) > Can you try to reproduce the crash ? > Thanks (In reply to comment #3) > Can you try to reproduce the crash ? > Thanks Yes. I just did it. I attach two screen captures of the KFind windows used. In this instance I searched for content "sm16 mz3 lt6". I left the [Name/Location] Named field empty and the Look in field containing: file:///home/shawn and to Include subfolders. In the [Contents] File type I selected All Files & Folders, Containing text: sm16 mz3 lt6 Other programs running were: Firefox and Opera browsers, KMyMoney and Thunderbird.
Ok. As you can reproduce the crash, can you install the "kdebase-apps-dbg", "libqt4-dbg" and "kdelibs5-dbg" packages? You will obtain a better backtrace. Post it later here. Thanks
