Hi Amine, I have been told that this may be a problem with sub-pixel hinting. Could you try to disable it to see if it fixes the problem? If this is the problem it may be fixed with Qt 4.5.1. Which version are you using? Thanks.
In system settings Anti-aliasing is set to System-Default. I have enabled Anti-aliasing and desactivated sub-pixel rendring. Will stay in touch. I'm using QT 4.2
Could you double check your Qt4 version? (4.2 is not possible) To find out it, just run "dolphin --version" in Konsole Thanks
You are right it's in fact Qt 4.4.3. The problem is still present even after disabling sub-pixel hinting.
Mh, may be it is related to your graphics drivers/card ... Which are they? But I still wonder if Qt4.5.1 could fix this Thanks
Working with a nVidia G72M [GeForce Go 7400] graphic card with nvidia proprietary driver.
Please try to update to Qt4.5 as soon as possible and reopen this bug report to include the new situation. Thanks!
I'm under Qt 4.5 for 3 days now. Haven't noticed the font issue...yet.
Test it during 5 or 10 days so then will confirm this is fixed when using Qt4.5. Thanks!
The fonts are well rendered now after 10 days under Qt 4.5. I think this bug can be closed now.
