Version: 1.11.2 (using KDE 4.2.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages i have several folders in my inbox, and its very convenient to open each folder inseparate tab. Unfortunally, when new mail arrived tabs doesnt updates, you need manually refresh it. Also, it will be good to show number of new letters in folder in tab header.
and one more: kmail doesnt keep open tabs between sessions, every time you start kmail you need to open tabs again.

What do you mean exactly with "tabs doesn't update"?
i think, i mean what new mail doesnt show in tabs. I stop using kmail 'cause i need to send html-formatted letters, so right now i cant tell what exactly i mean when open the case :) May be its not an issue already in KDE4.4. TRy to find time and re-check.

the difference is this bug - is a bug, and bug 193844 is a feature request :) in this case i mean the next: if i open in tab some filder from my mailbox, and after that i receive a letter in this folder, this letter not shown in previously opened tab. I think its clear bug. And feature request from bug 193844 cant be completed without fixed this bug. I cant say if it still the case6 because on my kubuntu laptop a cant start kmail due to some issues to akonadi after update.
